265  (ANNAPOLIS)   CLASS

The two ships in this class were the logical development of the St. Laurent through the Restigouche and Mackenzie designs. They were fitted with the 3 inch 50 gun in advance of the 3 inch 70. They were the first Canadian warships designed from the keel up as helicopter carrying ships.
